Over the last few days EURAXESS China country representative participated in the last leg of the EU-China R&I Stakeholders Tour of China as well as participating in a similar events in Hong Kong and Macau.

The 11th and 12th cities of the Tour of China took us to meet hundreds of researchers in Hangzhou and Shenzhen. The event in Hangzhou was held 13 November at the Innovation Park of the Gongshu district of Hangzhou, and the event in Shenzhen was held 15 November in conjunction with the China High-Tech Fair at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The tour is organised by the Delegation of the European Union in China and The China Science and Technology Exchange Center (CSTEC), an agency of the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. The EU Delegation introduced how Chinese researchers and research institutions can participate in the Horizon 2020 framwork programme of the European Union and CSTEC introduced how Chinese participants of Horizon 2020 can apply for a co-funding from the Chinese government to do part of the research in China.

In addition to introducing the EURAXESS network, EURAXESS Country Representative was also moderating a new session of the event called Tour of EU-China S&T Landscape. Using an interactive map, the audience was invited to "fly over" the European Research Area, getting the birds eye view of examples of the research landscape in various EU member states and associated countries. Participating were representatives from the embassies and consulates of various European countries, including The Czech Republic, Germany, France, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, and Switzerland.
