The FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas) is organising its Fourth Applied Research Colloquium. The goal is "to encourage the development of multidisciplinary research with rigor and high impact on society". Representatives from key institutions to the national research landscape of Brazil will be present, such as: FINEP, COPPE, USP, CAPES, FAPESP, EMBRAPII, IPEA and FGV.
Dr. Albena Kuyumdzhieva, from the Directorate General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission, will be holding a Workshop on Protection of Private Data and Research Ethics, in the context of the event.
The Colloquium will be held in the FGV Auditorium, in São Paulo (Avenida 9 de Julho, 2029), on the 21 and 22 August. The Workshop will happen on the same venue, the day after, 23 August.
