EURAXESS Australia and New Zealand Regional Coordinator, Mr Nishant Shandilya was invited by James Cook University to speak about Horizon Europe on 21 July 2022.
The virtual session focused primarily on EU Framework Programs (Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe), European Research Council (ERC) grants and Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA). The session included details on ERC's Implementing Arrangements with NHMRC & ARC as well as NHMRC-EU Collaborative Research Grant Scheme. A high-level overview of Pillar II was also presented to showcase how and what would involvement in collaborative research grants would entail.
Audience: PhD students, Early and Mid-Career Researchers and Senior Researchers from any research discipline at James Cook University.
