Session 6 @ European Research Days 2020 - Australia & New Zealand

European Research Days 2020 – Australia & New Zealand is a flagship event of EURAXESS Australia and New Zealand organised in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to Australia and the Delegation of the European Union to New Zealand. The event focuses on providing the research community with information and support for scientific exchange and collaboration with Europe. The ERD has a total of 9 sessions (3 on each day), on a wide array of topics.

The last session of the second day is a Special Session in collaboration with the European Research Council on Applying for an ERC Grant: Perspectives from Grantees & Evaluators.

The European Research Council (ERC) is the premier European funding organisation for excellent frontier research. The ERC supports investigator-driven frontier research across all fields. It awards research grants to scientists and scholars from all over the world, both early-career and senior researchers, carrying out their ambitious research projects in all scientific disciplines in Europe.

In this second installemnet of the ERC webinar series, we will hear from a current ERC grantee who will share his advice on how to navigate the application process for a successful outcome. The session will also feature an ERC proposal evaluator.

This session is directed at post-doctoral researchers and established researchers (PhD + 2 to 15 years experience) of all disciplines and all nationalities.
