Description
We are offering hosting for 2 years to researchers interested in collaborationg and offering graduate courses in the field of physical metallurgy at the University of Sao Paulo - Campus Sao Carlos.
The main research topics within our group in Sao Carlos are:
PVD coatings for tribological applications using magnetron sputtering techniques (HiPIMS and DC);
Magnesium alloys for mechanical and biological applications;
Thermomechanical processing of magnesium and titanium alloys;
In-situ synchrotron radiation research;
Residual stress and texture analyses using X-rays and synchrotron radiation.
