The project ALGANAT2000 is focused on increasing productivity in seaweed biodiversity monitoring through geospatial tecniques based on UAVs and Satellite Remote Sensing.

 

ALGANAT2000 is a partnership of University of Vigo and Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park in collaboration with Fundacion Biodiversidad, from the Spanish Ministry of Ecological Transition and co-funded by European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF).

 

University of Vigo is offering a predoc position and looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and proactive MsC with background in computer science (python, c++, matlab and the like) and interest in image processing, GIS and Remote Sensing.

  • REQUIRED EDUCATION LEVEL
    Computer science: Master Degree or equivalent
    Engineering: Master Degree or equivalent
    Environmental science: Master Degree or equivalent
  • REQUIRED LANGUAGES
    ENGLISH: Good

Skills/Qualifications

Master Degree or equivalent

Interest in develop a PhD dissertation

 

Specific Requirements

Programming in python, c++, matlab and the like

Interest and/or experience in image processing, GIS and Remote Sensing.
